About the Vietnamese language
Vietnamese is the principle language of Viet Nam, a country with a rich history and 54 official ethnic groups. These groups speak 110 languages, some of which you can find out more about below. The Bible was first translated into Vietnamese in 1872, though some Catholic texts were translated as early as 1651! The Bible Society works to make sure that each person in Viet Nam has access to the Bible in the language of their choice.

Ban đầu có Ngôi Lời, Ngôi Lời ở với Đức Chúa Trời, và Ngôi Lời là Đức Chúa Trời.
